2021 Annual report

In 2021, the COVID crisis not only continued to widen the employment gap, but also to worsen the digital and social divide. In this context, the mission of DUO for a JOB proved more necessary than ever. Covid-19: accelerator of inequalities on the job market

A year after the start of the health crisis, DUO for a JOB conducted a survey among the 720 duos it supported in 202030. Finding? The Covid-19 crisis has led to a decrease in job opportunities and an increase in social and financial problems for young people. Barriers to access public services are further reinforced and the transformation of the means of communication and job search via digital technology is problematic for some of them... 2019 Experience Report

Belgium has the lowest employment rate in Europe for people born outside the European Union. This figure calls into question the inclusive nature of the Belgian labour market, and of our society in general. DUO for a JOB offers 8 concrete courses of action for more inclusion and equal opportunities in accessing the labour market.
