Advocacy
DUO for a JOB makes its expertise available to all in order to contribute to the development of effective policies and practices for professional integration and social cohesion.

Our goals
Mentoring allows us to provide individualized solutions to public policy issues. However, since these challenges are recurring and collective, political action is required to address them in a more structural way.
The primary goal of our advocacy is to highlight both the challenges faced and the positive impact of mentoring at the individual level, while also advocating for the structural changes needed to remove the barriers and difficulties encountered by young people and/or mentors.
Our areas of action

👉 Equal opportunities
By fighting against discrimination based on age or origins.

👉 Inclusion & diversity
By promoting encounters between citizens with diverse backgrounds.

👉 Active aging
By valuing the professional experience of our seniors.

👉 Social cohesion
En partageant des valeurs fortes qui empĂŞchent le repli sur soi.

2023 Experience report
After 10 years of experience in the field, and in the electoral context of 2024, DUO for a JOB wants to demonstrate the role, impact and potential of mentoring in Belgium. To do this, we gave a voice to participants, mentors and mentees. How did they experience the mentoring process? Did mentoring bring added value to their professional and/or social lives?
