Launched in 2017 in Antwerp, DUO for a JOB has integrated itself into the local associative fabric to offer young people with an immigration background its intergenerational mentoring program. Relying on an active community of numerous mentors, the association opened 2 other offices from 2 other offices to welcome its duos!

Alla & Chris
Her mentor helped her clearly define her goals and practice her Dutch skills.

Eric listened to Dorine, helped her structure her ideas and write cover letters, while giving her the support she needed to regain her self-confidence. 🙌

Dorine didn't know how to move forward in her career after three years of unemployment

Her objective was to work in import-export and to start her own business.

After his career at DUO, Seydou is finally touching his dream with his fingertips. He now works at the sorting center at Bpost and was offered to become a postman once he got his final license 🚗
Joseph & Alain
Alain provided emotional support, practical advice, and helped Joseph set clear goals while encouraging him to believe in himself 🌟.
Situation :
Joseph was a refugee from Ukraine, lost and hesitant about which direction to take after fleeing his war-torn country.

Joseph wanted to find his professional career in Belgium, after having been interrupted in his medical studies.

Thanks to his duo with Alain, Joseph achieved his goals and acquired the confidence he needed to project himself into his future in Belgium.
