Duo for a Job arrives in Charleroi: “to help young people with an immigration background to launch themselves on the job market”
The Brussels non-profit organization is opening branches everywhere. It is Charleroi today, to offer young people with an immigration background individualized and free of charge support with a mentor over 50 years old who wants to pass on his experience.
The non-profit association Duo for a Job starts from a fairly simple idea: young people with an immigration background (born abroad, of foreign nationality, who live in Belgium and who have a residence status, or whose parents or grandparents have an immigration background) have more difficulty integrating into the job market, it is statistically proven. At the same time, there are quite a few people over 50 who want to share their experience and join a citizen initiative.
